This is a great way to learn Buddha's ancient wisdom and to expand your horizon. You will learn:
The class is taught by resident monks trained in the Theravada Buddhist Tradition. No experience is required and everyone is welcome. Never visited before? Find out what to expect.
How you can be happy always
How to increase your comfort and happiness
What will happen after death
How to increase mental health
How to be born in the Heavenly World
How to develop your meditation
Are there other beings in the world other than us?
What are the benefits to be gained by practicing precepts

    All of the events and activities at the monastery are free and open to the public. No registration is necessary. Families are welcome to come. Unless otherwise noted, all events take place at the monastery, 11175 Kennedy Road, Markham, Ontario (1 km north of Elgin Mills). We are less than an hour from down town Toronto, located in a peaceful farming community.
